(Physical Suggestion)
1. EC: Yes, we have the body here, [567].
2. Now, as we find, there are conditions physical that disturb
the better equilibrium of the body; for the periods when
there is incoordination of the nerve reflexes to the activity
of the body with the mental reactions show these disturbing
factors.
3. As we find, these are of the nature that affect the
coordinating system - are physical; and while there may be
much gained through the activities of the mental attitudes of
the body, there must be those physical adjustments and
physical changes in the anatomical processes in the activity
of organs as related to the responses in the nerve system to
the brain to make for coordinations.
4. These, then, are the conditions as we find them with this
body, [567], we are speaking of, present in this room:
5. In the BLOOD SUPPLY we find the lack of those elements
necessary for a proper balancing for the functioning of
organs in the relationships to the activity of glands in the
body. These are as much lacking in the activity through
those properties that it has been necessary to administer to
the body from time to time, but these have GROWN in their
activity from the lack of proper impulse in the lyden and the
pineal centers; for the PINEAL center is engorged, especially
especially at the 3rd and 4th LUMBAR and the 1st and 2nd
cervical.
6. Also in the blood supply we find indications of the necessity
of activities that make for slowing of the secretions in the
circulation through the hepatics. Hence toxic forces at
times that arise are a contributory cause to the lack of
eliminations in a normal manner throughout this portion of
the system.
7. As to the NERVE FORCES of the body, here we find - as has
been indicated - one of the basic conditions that has caused
this pressure on the pineal, as to make for the
incoordination at periods; from times past when there were
those subluxations produced in certain portions of the
cerebro-spinal system, namely in the lower part of the dorsal
and upper lumbar area. For this is when the mental
capacities as related to the imaginative system refuse to
coordinate with the rest of the activity of the body, and
thence comes this reflex that has been disturbing and does
disturb the body at times.
8. As to the functioning of the ORGANS THEMSELVES, the
activities to the brain centers and the reflexes from same at
most periods are near normal. When there are the repressions
produced from the subluxation in this area, we find these
refuse to make for the proper reactions in the sensory
system; and at such times one or the other and at times all
of such organs are subject to an excess activity, so that
influences from without may be seen, heard, felt or
experienced by the body during such experiences.
9. Throat, bronchi, lungs, larynx, these - under the general
condition - are very good.
10. Activity of the heart is near normal, save at the periods
when the nerve repressions are shown in the system.
11. Digestive area finds those periods when it is necessary that
there be kept a strict reaction to the whole system, that
there be not produced the more active forces in the
repression or activity upon the portions where the plethora
has existed and does exist in the gland reaction.
12. As to the liver, spleen, and the activities of the hepatic
circulation, as we have indicated, the necessity for
increasing the eliminations in these channels makes for very
poor activity; yet this is rather from that added to the
system than from organic disturbance.
13. Then, in meeting the needs of these conditions, as we find
them with this body, [567], we are speaking of, present in
this room:
14. First we would begin with small quantities of the properties
taken internally that will make for the glands' action in the
body, both as to secretive and excretive functioning; that
is, the atomic iodine in the form of Atomidine. Begin with
two minims twice each day. Each day increase this one minim
until ten minims are being taken twice each day. Then leave
off for two days. Then begin again with the two minims.
15. Begin also immediately with the removal of the subluxation
that exists in the 12th dorsal and in the 1st and 2nd and 3rd
LUMBAR area. In this, we would find, it will be necessary to
make the adjustment from the right side; and making the
alignment there will remove the repression that has existed.
It will require some time, but if there is kept a constant
reaction or a systematic activity for the body we will remove
the cause and have PERMANENT reactions in a normal manner.
16. As to the matter of diet, be mindful that there are kept
those reactions that will keep the eliminations and the
activities throughout the alimentary canal in a near normal
manner. But keep the system in an alkalin reacting
condition, which may be tested both from (and should be) the
spittle and the urine also. This will make for the keeping
of a system being brought to a near normalcy.
17. It will be necessary for the time being that there be kept
the active principles that have allayed and do allay the
reactions spasmodically, but these should be gradually
diminished in the system.
18. Ready for questions.
19. In making such adjustments, WE would suggest such an one as
Kapple - who is near the body. [W. Lee Kapple, Naprapath.]
20. (Q) Where is the pressure located?
(A) 12th dorsal, 1st, 2nd, 3rd lumbar, with the reflex at
the 1st and 2nd cervical.
21. (Q) Is the toxic state extreme?
(A) At times, extreme. This is the repression produced by
the subluxations, giving the impulses to the low activity of
the excretory forces in the activity of the body.
22. (Q) Does lack of exercise have anything to do with the
present status?
(A) Lack of exercise at TIMES does. At others it does not.
Rather is it, as we have indicated, a constitutional
condition, you see, which affects the glands of the body, as
related to the pineal - which runs all the way through the
system and is the GOVERNING body to the coordinating of the
mental and physical. The inactivity of the glands causes the
incoordination; the lyden [Leydig] gland, the ones above the
kidneys and, naturally, affect those in the thyroid area to
the extent that these DO NOT secrete properly.
Hence the addition of the properties in Atomidine for the
activity of glands as related to both those of organic
distribution as well as those of the nature that are ductless
in their activity. These then must be coordinated, not only
by the removal of those pressures where the subluxations
exist but by the distribution through the system by the
general massage and treatment that will be given from the
activities to cause these gradually to ASSUME their normal
position of activity and reaction in the system.
23. (Q) Will an operation be necessary?
(A) As we find, an operation would rather be harmful than
even being necessary.
24. (Q) Can you locate the status of the atlas?
(A) This, as we have indicated here at the top, you see, is
that portion where the engorgement or enlargement of the
pineal - as it enters - makes for the periods when the
REPRESSIONS react upon the system; though the engorgement
area in the lower dorsal - that is, the 12th dorsal and upper
lumbar - is MORE to be ADJUSTED than those centers in the
upper cervical; for with the removal and repulsing of the
condition through the glands' activity, these will be made to
coordinate and hence the atlas - or that GOVERNING center of
the body here, where it enters through the medulla oblongata
here - will be near normal. See? We will have to REDUCE its
pressure.
25. (Q) Will this wear off?
(A) Wear off WITH the application of those things that will
create a balance!
26. (Q) Can we find out about the operation on the back to
remove the cyst?
(A) This, as is seen here, is more to the bottom than in the
small of the back, as we find. This has been as a PUNCTURING
of same. Now, when the glands of the body are made to
function the more normal, by the addition of those properties
in the blood supply - that we have indicated is disturbed by
repressions, the HEALING will come about naturally.
Let's begin now from the basis of conditions: The spiritual
activity of atomic forces in a body, in every atom or every
cell of the blood supply, is a life in itself. See? These
are moved or acted upon by the forces from without, whether
they be spiritual, mechanical or mental. See? In each of
their planes of activity, they move in their own plane.
Hence, when there is the necessity for coagulation, there
must be the quantity of the leucocyte within the blood supply
to create that urea in the blood itself so it may come about.
See? Now, when there is repression - and this same
character of repression affects the mental activity and the
reflexes to the various portions of the body as indicated -
there is prevented a normalcy in activity, whether physical,
mental or spiritual coordination in the body.
27. (Q) May we take it that the enlargement mentioned is mostly
responsible?
(A) Is WHOLLY responsible, and the other has been the effect
it has produced upon the system!
Now, we make the adjustments, you see, from the RIGHT side;
not a lateral, you see, not so much from the left, but from
the RIGHT side. Make the coordinations to all the various
plexus and ganglia along the system with these treatments,
which would be about three times each week.
The active forces within the system itself through the
Atomidine would be taken in the order or manner given,
gradually increasing until we get the proper GLAND reaction -
and THEN we may find, by their coordination and keeping the
eliminations and drainages necessary, we will create a
balance in the blood supply and a balance in the coordinating
activity of nerve impulses; and hence coordination in the
mental, physical and spiritual being of this body, [567].
28. We are through for the present.

(6/1/34 GD enclosed booklet on Atomidine, also letter to Dr.
Kapple. She wrote further to [567]: "Notice particular
reference to pineal gland in [Par. 22-A, above]. The lyden
[Leydig] gland, mentioned on first page of reading [Par. 5],
has been described in a reading as follows: 'The basis or
seat of the soul is in the lyden gland; lyden meaning sealed;
that gland from which gestation takes place when a body is
created through coercion, or inception, through conception of
two bodies meeting in creating a body. Located in and above
the genital glands; in the male, above the glands
corresponding to testes. In the female, above gland
responding to testes in the male. Nominally should be about
the size of a small pea.' Apparently, the pineal runs from
the lyden to the base of brain [3997-1]. I merely give these
references, in case you or the doctor become confused over
terms which are not familiar.")

(Physical Suggestion)
1. EC: We have the body here, [241]. We find there are
conditions existent that are abnormal for this body. These,
as we find, have to do with the nerve system and the effect
this has upon the body in the various functionings as related
to the cycle of organic conditions. While there are not
wholly organic disturbances, yet the organs become involved
at times in the conditions. The very nature of the
disturbance producing this.
2. These, then, are conditions as we find them with this body,
[241] we are speaking of, present in this room. First:
3. IN THE BLOOD SUPPLY, this we find below the normal in its
activity; that is, in the character of the functioning it
should produce in its action through the system. Hence the
variations as exist in the organs through which same is
distributed. Not the organic condition, not even a valvular;
though this, at times, becomes apparent.
4. IN THE NERVE SYSTEM, or systems rather, we find the seat or
the cause of the disturbances in this body. In times back
there were those conditions that caused distress, though of
a minor nature at the time, wherein the coccyx and sacral
were disturbed in their normal pressure as should be brought
in the system. In the gradual development of the effect
this produced on the system, we find there have been various
disturbances through the body from these existent conditions.
First disturbing those functionings of the pelvic organs,
again disturbing those of the digestive system, and again
those of the cardiac forces, as were respondent with the
action of the sympathetic nerve system. Hence the variations
in the pressure as is created in the blood stream, the
variation in the pressure and reaction as is produced in the
reaction of the brain force itself, THROUGH the action of the
pineal gland, especially in that region of the connection
between the sympathetic, the cerebro-spinal, and the pineal
ends as have to do with the glands that secrete for the
sustenance of reproductive forces in the system. These,
then, produce the variations in the activities of the
reflexes from the system.
5. IN THE FUNCTIONING OF THE ORGANS THEMSELVES, as has been
indicated, ORGANS become involved, but not necessarily may
this be termed as organic, nor organic conditions, other
than the disturbance of the functioning of the organs. As
is indicated in those of the sympathetic in their activities
with the sensory system, when the condition as has existed
with throat, eyes, ears, the tingling sensations as appear
over the body at times are REFLEXES from these varying
conditions existent from the pressure as has been long
produced in the lower sacral and coccyx region.
6. In the throat, bronchials, lungs and larynx - here again we
find a sympathetic condition, from the nerve pressure, as
well as those of the condition as has been created by the
anemic forces in a measure, or a character of anemia for the
blood supply and the carbon, or the oxidization as takes
place through the lung.
7. The heart's action in its normalcy BELOW normal, though there
are conditions and there are times or periods when these
bring distresses to the body.
8. The liver and the organs of digestion - sympathetically, the
reaction is poor; yet at times almost anything would digest,
with the created forces within the digestive tract proper.
The liver shows the effect of sympathetic condition with the
lower portion of hepatic circulation, as does the mesenteric
system show the effect as has been produced on the body by
the constant strain or pressure as produced in the lower
portion of the body.
9. Now, to meet the needs of the conditions, as would bring
about for the body the near normalcy, and create the better
equilibrium between the activity of the sympathetic, cerebro-
spinal, and the forces of the body as related to same, in the
activity of those organs supplied by the impulses from the
radial plexus through which these depressions occur:
10. First we would make those proper corrections in the sacral
and coccyx region, that would relieve the pressure as is
existent there. From the very nature of the conditions, and
the period that these have REMAINED as the conditions that
cause distresses, it would require time, patience,
persistence; but these may BE relieved, by first applying wet
HEAT, and GRADUALLY the raising of the structural portions
even of the body as to relieve the strain and pressure there;
adding to the system those vibrations as would be found in
the activity of the Radio-Active Appliance carrying into the
system those vibrations that will CREATE for the system the
rejuvenation of the impulses through the gray active forces
of the nerve impulse itself. Adding same, then, by the
alternating of the negative pole from the wrist to the ankle,
with the continuation of that pole or anode carrying those
properties of the Chloride of Gold to the umbilicus, or from
the radial center through which all forces of the body carry
those impulses to the central brain, or the active forces in
heart's action, pulsation, and in the ever active forces of
nerve impulses and reflexes. These will bring about the
nearer normal conditions of the body. These should be taken
first for at least thirty minutes each day. After the first
six to eight weeks, they may be taken only every OTHER day,
but increasing the period from one-half hour to one whole
hour. Keeping up the manipulations and those activities
NECESSARY for the eliminations to be set up nominally through
the body. Ready for questions.
11. (Q) Should the manipulations be given osteopathically? and
how often?
(A) The corrections as should be made in the sacral and
coccyx region should be made at least once each week, until
there is full alignment from the 1st cervical to the end of
the spine. With the changes as will be brought about by
making the corrections osteopathically, we will find OTHER
alignments - particularly those in the 8th and 9th dorsal,
the 4th lumbar and the 3rd and 4th cervical, will tend to
show soreness, from the NATURAL connective directions from
the sympathetic and cerebro-spinal and its reflexes through
the pineal forces of the body. The pineal in this body,
particularly, continues to run its FULL length through the
system, from the medulla oblongata to the brush end of the
cerebro-spinal nerve itself. Then, the other conditions as
would be through the manipulations would be at least one
other each week, a general treatment - or general massage.
12. (Q) How may the body best overcome the morbid feelings after
these spells? [Epileptic seizures.]
(A) By removing the pressure and that that produces the
pressure to the brain's reaction itself, as has been given.
With the applying of those impulses to the activity of the
gray forces in the nerve tissue itself; that is, as the
condition as has been given. Impulse in brain forces, or
its reaction, are of two natures - the white and gray matter,
as is ordinarily called. One an impulse, the other the
active force that carries on same. In the body, when the
impulses come from the pressure as has been created in the
forces seen to the brain itself, we have that of the activity
without the impulse to carry same forward. Hence we have
what is commonly known or called melancholia, or depression,
or the inability to carry out the impulses of the body.
The application of the Gold itself in the system is to act
with the functioning of the glands to create, by removing
the pressure over the body, that necessary to overcome the
condition. IMPULSE, see?
Do as we have given. We will overcome the condition. It
will require, of course - to be sure - those activities of
the body itself, to KEEP self in that position that the mind
itself will build. Not merely a mind action, but a PHYSICAL
condition IN the body PRODUCING the effect of a psychological
force in the system, [241]. Do that, as we have given. We
are through for the present.
