One Week of Cooperation check sheet.
"Losing sight of self and becoming a channel through which
blessings may flow to others".
| Today I have; |
Day of week |
| 1. Helped someone directly; physically,
materially. "Service being the means of fulfilling our
mission here, the question will naturally arise, "Am I doing all that I can for my
brother? Am I giving freely of self to help others? Is every moment of my life lived as He
would have me live? In other words, am I a channel of blessings to others?" 262-10 |
| 2. Helped someone directly; mentally, with advice
or a kind word. As the opportunity, day by day, is given, be not
unmindful of speaking when there is the opportunity; not that self becomes offensive, no!
Kindness has NEVER been offensive, will NEVER be offensive to anyone! The kindly thought,
the kindly act - for "He that gives the cup of cold water in my name shall not lose
his reward." 262-9 |
| 3. Prayed for someone (silently in their
presence). Thy prayers, thy supplications have been heard, and
they are brought before that Throne of mercy, light, peace and harmony. And as these are
manifested in thy experience and thy associations with thy fellow man, so does that
assurance grow in the knowledge and the wisdom of the Most High. That thou doest then unto
thy brother day by day, that thou doest unto thy Maker. 1301-1 |

4. Prayed for someone. The greatest help to each individual would be NOT to
argue WITH, but get down on the KNEES and pray with! 17.
(Q) [by HLC] What actual work can he do that will help the most?
(A) As each comes, and as each signify their willingness
to serve, pray WITH. THAT'S actual work. 254-53 |
| 5. Prayed for someone in
his absence (at a distance). "And let such an one,
who has the care of the body (someone else's), be one not lacking in prayer and in love for the fellow man".(1789-1) As has been given,
by prayer, meditation, many a load has been lifted for a brother and friend." (281-6 |
| 6. Improved the morale of
those around me because of my attitude. "Keep
that inner voice. Speak gently, speak kindly, knowing that in harmony of purpose may
each add their part to what to be accomplished in those seeking." 281-1 |
| 7. Meditated fifteen
minutes. "...set a definite period morning or
evening, or both even, though it be five or ten minutes-let nothing interfere, pray.
Then live like you pray. Then listen, and you may be very sure
the answer will come back to you and you will find soon everyone much gladder to see you
coming." 5368-1 |
| 8. Meditated at a time set
by the group. "In the meditations-we would set
a specific time for all to meditate; for he that may not cooperate one with another has
little part in that that may be accomplished..." 262-4 |
